A profession in its own right
We take over where the dictionary stops
Translation is a profession in its own right. Language skills, experience and expertise are all equally important. Every translator knows that these skills must be honed over time, and it takes years to reach a proficient level. After more than thirty-five years, Dice has built up a team of professionals working in all European languages who truly achieve this level. Here is a brief overview of the types of texts our translators handle every day:

Case translation for VUB
Professors Guy Vanthemsche and Patricia Van den Eeckhout (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) edited the landmark reference Bronnen voor de studie van het hedendaagse België, 19de-20ste eeuw – Sources pour l’étude de la Belgique contemporaine, 19e-20e siècle‘ published in 2017 by the Royal Historical Commission.
Over 30 French and Dutch speaking historians contributed to the project, so all texts needed to be translated into the other language. This was a task tailor-made for our team because such a complex assignment demands translators with extensive knowledge, linguistic sensitivity, and experience—all qualities we have in-house.
Add to that the expertise and guidance of Professor Vanthemsche and his team, and you get an outstanding result. Language is, after all, a profession.
